While TCA teachers are not required to hold a NC teaching certification, many do. All teachers are required to become ACSI certified during their first year. ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) certification is a credential for educators in Christian schools that affirms both professional and biblical standards while encouraging continued professional growth.
Parents and grandparents are encouraged to volunteer in classrooms as readers or lunch monitors, etc. Every person who wishes to volunteer must complete a background check before they are allowed on campus.
